The internal pressure test determines how well thermoplastic pipes withstand constant hydrostatic pressure at a fixed temperature. Samples are tested for a set duration or until failure occurs. The length of the test depends on the pressure-induced stress and the temperature conditions.

End closures are used to seal the pipe samples, allowing internal pressure to build up. The maximum pressure applied varies based on standards, specifications, and the diameter of the pipe sample.

  1. Specially designed for easy installation and secure sealing. Split-type clamps allow for automatic centering.
  2. Made from high-quality stainless steel, offering corrosion resistance, long-lasting performance, and reduced weight.
  3. The design provides a lightweight structure and enables quick assembly.
  4. End caps are manufactured with a defined depth from the O-ring to the internal bottom, ensuring a proper fit—even on chamfered or oval-shaped PE pipes.
  5. Simple and reliable venting system located directly at the sample.
  6. Includes a stainless steel chain to prevent the lower enclosure from sinking to the bottom of the water tank in case of sample failure.
  7. Equipped with an air inlet and a drain port to remove water after testing, specifically for large-diameter end caps.
