Falling Weight Impact Testers for Plastic Pipes, PVC, and Electrical Conduits - ToronFWI-Series - Falling Weight Impact Tester ToronFWI-ISO
Falling Weight Impact Tester ToronFWI-ISO
ISO3127, ISO11173, BS EN744, BS EN1411
ToronFWI-ISO Falling Weight Impact Tester is designed to measure the impact resistance of thermoplastic pipes using either the staircase or round-the-clock method.
Test samples are struck by a falling striker with a defined mass and shape, dropped from a known height onto specific points around the pipe's circumference. This process helps determine the actual impact performance of a production batch or extrusion run.
To operate, simply place the sample on the V-block, close the chamber, and start the test. The striker is automatically lifted into position by the internal drive system.
The tester supports two methods: the round-the-clock method and the staircase method.
