Eight-Stage Andersen Cascade Impact Sampler (ACI)
Eight-Stage Andersen Cascade Impact Sampler (ACI) is a multi-stage, porous device designed to analyze the aerodynamic properties of inhalable fine particles. It features multiple cascade impactors and a membrane in the final stage.
For MDI and spray testing, the top cover connects to an artificial larynx and generator using an adapter. For DPI testing, a pre-separator should be installed on the top layer to capture large amounts of non-inhalable powder particles. The sampler complies with USP, Ph. Eur., and ChP 2020 standards for aerodynamic characterization of inhaled fine particles.
