Asphalt Content Tester - Ignition Oven
Asphalt Content Tester - Ignition Oven ToronACT-T308 is a microcontroller-based system designed for fast and accurate asphalt content analysis using the electric ignition oven method. This cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution ensures precise results while streamlining the testing process.
The ToronACT-T308 features an internal electronic balance that continuously monitors sample weight throughout combustion, improving efficiency and saving valuable time.
The system consists of three key components:
- A high-performance electric combustion furnace
- An advanced electronic balance for precise weight measurement
- A test control and data processing unit with a built-in microcontroller
All data is displayed in real-time on the touchscreen controller. The unit includes a fume assembly chamber above the furnace, where emissions mix with air before being efficiently vented through the flue by an integrated fan.
Standards
- ASTM D6307-98
- AASHTO T308-99

With its microcontroller unit and high-precision electronic balance, this system is not only easy to use but also simple to maintain.
- Provides accurate endpoint detection based on the pre-set calibration factor.
- Features a redesigned furnace structure for rapid heating and shorter test times.
- Modern, streamlined design with precise alignment of the furnace and balance, ensuring the sample is perfectly centered.
- Supports testing of various asphalt mixtures, following ASTM D6307-98 and AASHTO T308-99 standards. A calibration sample is used to establish the system’s accuracy, ensuring reliable test results.
