The Shredder - Plastic Waste Single Shaft Shredder is specifically crafted for small-volume and thin-walled waste plastic products.
These Shredder - Plastic Waste Single Shaft Shredder feature a tangential in-feed, eliminating the need for a hydraulic feeding system. They're equipped with outboard bearings and E-type smooth rotors, with rotor widths of 600mm and 800mm, driven by a reducer. Rotor knives are affixed to the rotor by a movable knife holder, adopting square knives with a central groove. Each of the rotor knife's four corners can be alternately used, allowing each knife to be used continuously four times. Operating at an ultra-low speed of 60rpm, combined with the compact design, these shredders operate quietly even when handling blocks. The plug-and-play intelligent control system ensures equipment readiness at all times and locations. Compared to larger shredders, the LS series boasts a smaller footprint, flexible mobility, and quicker, more convenient maintenance.
The Plastic Waste Single Shaft Shredder is ideal for small and medium-sized parts, including pipes with small volumes and thin walls, waste hollows, sheets, and profiles from plastic production, as well as lumps and purges from injection manufacturing.
BELT CONVEYOR
The plastic waste is transported into the shredder using a belt feeding device. This mechanism utilizes an ABB/Schneider frequency converter for precise frequency control. The speed of the belt feeding device is synchronized with the shredder's capacity, automatically adjusting the conveyor belt speed based on the shredder's current load.
METAL DETECTOR
An optional Ferrous Metal Permanent Magnetic Belt or a metal detector can stop metal objects from entering the shredder, effectively safeguarding the shredder blades.
HOPPER
A specially designed hopper prevents materials from scattering. The machine features a large filling hopper that can be loaded using a conveyor belt, forklift, crane, or wheel-loader. This adaptable funnel can be customized to meet specific needs, ensuring a consistent and cost-effective supply of material.
HYDRAULIC RAM
The hydraulically operated pusher automatically directs material toward the cutter using load-related controls. The hydraulic system includes overflow valves and volumetric flow controls that can be adjusted based on the requirements of the input materials.
ROTOR
The rotor, made of seamless steel pipes with a diameter of 750mm, operates at a speed of 52 rpm. It houses concave ground, aggressive, and 4-way rotating knives within its grooves. This setup reduces the cutting gap between the counter knives and the rotor, ensuring a high flow rate, low power consumption, and maximum output of processed material.

SCREEN
Below the rotor, a screen regulates the size of the necessary flakes. This screen is easily accessible through a separate flap, allowing for straightforward replacement. Hydraulic mechanisms facilitate the opening and closing of the screen.
SHREDDER CHAMBER
The shredder chamber is constructed using a 30mm ultra-high hardness steel plate, providing wear resistance, corrosion resistance, reduced noise, and an extended service life.
MOTOR
Using an imported WEG motor brand, this system boasts low energy consumption, minimal noise, and an extended service life.
ELECTRONIC CONTROL
The entire model utilizes frequency conversion control and complies with international standards like CE/CSA.
TOOL INSTALLATION
The tool can be adjusted swiftly outside the machine, reducing downtime and simplifying tool replacement.
